I chose the Shuffle for my wife because she wanted a simple music player was not interested in photos and videos, and needed a device that is easy to synchronize with the user-friendly software. I have experience with various MP3 players used on Windows platforms, and I knew it was going to be frustrated with the problems of shock. The Shuffle works perfectly. It’s easy to sync with iTunes, is very compact and can be clipped to a shirt, you have a lot of music for their purposes, and the sound quality is excellent. If you want just music, a compact, and simple operations, the Shuffle is for you.

BACKGROUND: I am an experienced mp3 player user, and my other current drive is a SanDisk Sansa Clip 2 GB MP3 Player (Black). I bought a silver 1 Gb iPod Shuffle primarily to use at the gym, however, I will also comment on the use of general. This is also the only Apple device I’ve owned any kind. < Br / > < br / > SETUP: There are two things to note about the installation process iPod Shuffle. None of them are complicated, but are annoying. Unlike most MP3 players that use a mini-USB cable for charging and transferring music, the Shuffle requires the use of a docking station property. As such, I could not reuse any of the thousands of mini-USB cables I have from other devices. So you have to buy a second docking station or take the one that comes with the Shuffle with you for charging away from home. < Br / > < br / > The other thing on the Shuffle that I found was frustrating that is limited to using iTunes to transfer music. In addition, you can only transfer music from one computer. This is a very restrictive requirement for a low-end device. Finally, I was surprised by how slow iTunes is. Believe me, the last thing I expected was for iTunes to perform slower (by a significant amount) that Windows Media Player. I’m not fond of Microsoft or apologist by any means (I actually prefer Linux). < Br / > < br / > SOUND QUALITY: This is the area where I give the Shuffle its Top Brands. The sound is great if I play iTunes M4P formats or mp3s that I ripped from CDs or purchased elsewhere. Is equal in dynamics and range to my Sansa Clip, and even sounds good plugged into the AUX jack for my car stereo. < Br / > < br / > It noted, however, I am not using the headphones that came with the Shuffle. I never thought of myself as having small ears, but I noticed that the headphones that come with the Shuffle seems pretty big and hurt my ears immediately after putting them on. For my training, I’m using a pair of Skullcandy Buds Ink’d Earbuds – Dark Gray because they are cheap and style of ear in a secure fit while active. While these headphones will not win any awards, the Shuffle still sounds good even with these. < Br / > < USE br / > / NAVIGATION: This is the area where the Shuffle is the way behind the competition. Without a screen, a playlist are essentially giant is in the order that you put the songs on the device. You can play directly through the list, or you can shuffle “your music. However, I realized that between 30 and minute to minute shuffling, the first song is repeated. This initiative has more than four and half hours of music on the device. Unlike any CD or MP3 player I’ve had, I was surprised to find that the Shuffle repeats songs before going through the entire list. < br / & ; gt; < br / > If you decide you want to find a specific song in the best of luck to you. You have skip and reverse navigation, and you need a good memory of what order things synchronized with the device. Ultimately, it is not worth trying to use the Shuffle this way. It seems that is really geared toward the gym / active user who does not need a lot of control over their music. With this in mind, I can not see the point of even having a unit larger than 1 GB. It would seem to make sense to have a 512k offering to better match the functionality. < br / > < br / > In short, it’s great for work, but it would be very frustrating to use this as your portable music collection. < br / > < br / > OPTION: Indeed, the only option on the device itself is the toggle between continuous or shuffle play. From iTunes, you can upgrade the software for the Shuffle and change a few settings that most people are not going to alter their default values . < br / > < br / > COST: You are paying a premium for the Apple name, but you probably already knew that. Creative and SanDisk both have competing offerings with more functionality at a lower price. < br / > < CONCLUSION br / >: The iPod Shuffle as an expensive offering that really only makes sense for a specific subset of mp3 player users. If While the sound quality is good, it is really only for brand loyalists looking for a player to use in the gym.

Apple iPod shuffle 2 GB Silver (second generation) < br / > < Apple IPod Shuffle br / > finally has a larger capacity brother. This compact MP3 player was always great for the activity of users who enjoy exercising, running or music on the go. The new 2GB model offers consumers an Apple version of capacity the competition has been offering since last year. Great as a gift, an extra player, or exercise buddy. < Br / > < br / > < Pros br / > – New 2GB provides better capacity at a lower price per gigabyte! < br / > – Expanded storage capacity allows for more and less exchange song on iTunes! < br / > – Compact and design Functional < br / > – Clip pretty integrated – No case needed! < br / > – The battery performance of Nice to use long < br / & gt – The great family of Apple accessories to < br / > – Ideal for those already used iTunes < br / > – ITunes is also good for inexperienced users < br MP3 / > – Includes headphones are ideal for starting torque < br / > – Same great color options (silver, green, purple, blue) < br / > – Highly durable player < br / > – The brand and reputation of Apple < br / > < br / > < Cons br / > – Still a premium price compared to players who compete in a total of $ terms < br / > – Competing products offer more features, like FM radio and voice recording < br / & gt – No screen to view track names < br / > – Difficult to control / select tracks via playlists < br / > – Dock property / jack to synchronize / > < br – No expandability < br / > – Limits compatible native file formats in iTunes (MP3, AAC) < br / & ; gt; – No drag and drop music control < br / > – no iTunes fans are still forced to deal with software limitations < br / > & lt , br / > < form factor br / > < br / > The long awaited 2 gigabyte iPod Shuffle has the same body that has captured a large audience of fans . Size has always been his best game of the iPod shuffle. The integrated clip is undoubtedly its greatest asset seconds. Big intuitive buttons fast learning of new users. < Br / > < br / > The unit works well with no extra case, though there are still case options. The composite case comes in one of several popular color options including silver, blue, green and purple. < Br / > property headphone jack < br / > Apple still used for synchronization. Most competing players use a standard USB port B. Still a great overall design. < Br / br > < / > < Durability br / br > < / > Apple deserves points for the most durable player in the group. Even with the composite body, these guys hold a lot of abuse. Creative failure rates are too high, but Sandisk’s Clip is gaining ground in this area. < br / > < br / > < br Capacity / > < br / > The 2GB is long! long waiting times of Amazon will surely have some going to Apple stores. < br / > < br / > 1GB size was Apple’s only option MUCH time. The market has been flooded with 2GB players in the competition, as well as shuffle lookalikes. However, as Apple finally ups their size, Sansa now offers the clip in a 4GB size, though with long backorder waits. SanDisk Sansa Clip 4 GB MP3 Player (Silver) However, expanding options makes the current starter MP3 market very good for consumers at this time. < Br / > < br / > Creative Zen Stone Plus 2 GB MP3 Player (Black) < br / > SanDisk Sansa c150 2 GB MP3 Player (Black) < br / > SanDisk Sansa Express 2 GB MP3 Player (Black) < br / > SDMX7-2048 SanDisk Sansa c250 2GB MP3 Player < br / > SanDisk Sansa Clip 2 GB MP3 Player (Black) < br / > < br / > < features and software br / > < br / > Players compete through screens for easy viewing track, as well as FM radio and voice recording. The Creative Zen Stone Plus and the Sandisk Clip each offer all three features at a better price. Apple’s reliability and brand loyalty has allowed the shuffle to survive with limited features. < br / > < br / > In addition to drag and drop widgets sync using cables USB standard, or in the case of the Sansa Express, via direct USB. Apple still requires the proprietary dock. < Br / > < br / > still seems excessive to have to use iTunes software to sync 2GB of songs. Competing players have even worse software, but allow you to drag and drop files on these devices like USB thumb drives. < Br / > < br / > iTunes is both a curse and a blessing, depending on your point of view. For those who are used to iTunes or totally new to MP3s, the interface can be a great advantage. For anyone who wants more direct control over their music collection, some of the features within iTunes can be a burden. Not to mention, it seems that every week iTunes requires a new software update. < Br / > < br / > Again, if you like Apple and iTunes, or if you MP3 is totally new software will remain a net advantage for you. < br / > < br / > To those who worry about file options, Apple’s software allows only limited MP3 and AAC formats. You can convert other formats of these, but be aware of the limits. This is only a negative for the true believers of a particular file format, such as the growing group of WMA users. After have 2 format copies of all your music can really hurt as your collection grows. < Br / > < br / > < Sound br / > & ; lt; br / > The sound of this unit produces is pretty good although not great. Although I still feel the first generation shuffle sounded much better, the compensation was worth the smaller size. < Br / > < br / > < br Cost / & ; gt; < br / > The Shuffle price has finally come to about $ 65 for 2GB or $ 50 for 1GB. While not a bargain, this price makes the sting much less painful for Apple loyalists. The dollar per gigabyte cost is at least close to that of competing players. The absolute dollar cost is still a premium when taking into account features. < Br / > < br / > Players like the Sansa Clip continue to offer more functions in this capacity. If you want a small player and is open to brands beyond Apple, your options continue to expand. The Creative Stone Plus, Sansa Clip, and new models from Samsung and Sony are all worth a look. < Br / > < br / > Once again, the Apple’s reputation is well deserved. This model still requires you to pay a premium for it, although a slight premium decrease. :-D < br / > < br / > < Conclusion br / > < br / > If you must have Apple and the need a small business to high-impact exercises, this new 2GB Shuffle is. If you and you can afford it, a step forward for the Apple iPod Nano 4GB will cost $ 140 but gives you twice the capacity and video. However, if you’re not a die-hard Apple, the Sansa Clip and other options deserve serious consideration. < Br / > < br / > Research your options and choose the player that best suits you. Overall this is a good player at a better price. < Br / > < br / > Enjoy! < Br / >

I have a iPod classic is large enough to fit my 10 000 collection of songs about him. I bought the new iPod shuffle, because I got really tired of staying in the Classic my thick when it comes to jogging, and the clip-on Shuffle sleak design was just what I needed. I have no complaints. I basically use it to play a specific list that I developed in iTunes, so you do not need a screen that tells me what I’m listening. And you do not need to be able to hold 1000 songs since it just go through 10-20 in a training period. < Br / > < br / > The volume is as high or as low as I need. There is a switch to turn the “shuffle songs” feature on or off what is good for me not playing tired songs in the same order again and again. < Br / > < br / > The overall use is as simple as I need it while I’m running. It is clipped onto my pants or sleeve or pocket and quickly you can press any button I need to attend to business without breaking my stride. And I’ve never had to leave which is what worried me more. < Br / > < br / > The only thing that worked for me was the pads. They tend to hurt my ears, and when they are running, the way out of my ears completely. So I just invested in a pair of headphones that are placed in their ears. < Br / > < br / > Some people have problems that can only be charged through a computer. This has not been a problem for me and I can update the list of issues and refills often randomly while I’m doing that. But rarely does the battery runs independently. < Br / > < br / > I recommend this product if you are looking for a simple player, MP3 cheaper to take his body that on his way. It’s worth every penny.

There is nothing wrong with this iPod Shuffle. However, as time has worn on, it’s simply less exciting. < Br / > < br / > It was not really updated on the update of September 2008, but some colors were added as the deep blue. < br / > < br / > In general, the Shuffle still works great. You sync some of your favorite music to it and then listen in order, or choose to shuffle it. I must admit that mine sits on my desk and not used very often, but it is nice to have, for its incredibly small size and light weight. Some like having an extra small device for traveling, but I think the Nano and Touch to be perfectly small enough, and the Nano starts at 149. < Br / > < br / > If you’re really trying to save some money, and you just want to get some music from iTunes on a device, this will do it for you in a very large value. No problems. Also, maybe you want a second iPod, another good option. However, if you have received the first iPod, and do not mind the cost of an entry-level Nano, you’ll have the ability to find their music on the screen. < Br / > & lt; br / > The Shuffle has its place and gets the job done, but just not as exciting as the iPod, and not always having your playlist “blind”, it is always advisable.
