Here are the firmwares to Unlock and Jailbreak your iPhone! Make sure you select the right one! iPhone (1st Gen) Custom Firmware (This firmware is version 3.1.2, and it is FULLY unlocked!) ONLY FOR THE FIRST GENERATION IPHONE! bit.ly Instructions FOR 1ST GENERATION iPhone UNLOCK! (This will reformat your iPhone) 1) Download the custom firmware 2) Plug your device into the computer 3) Hold the home button AND power button for 10 seconds 4) Release the POWER BUTTON and KEEP holding the home button for 15 seconds 5) Release the home button 6) Open iTunes, it should detect an iPhone in recovery mode. 7) Hold Option if your on a Mac, and with your mouse, click on restore 7) Hold Shift if your on a PC, and with your mouse, click on restore 
Locate the Custom Firmware that you just downloaded from Mega Upload 9) Press choose and let it install! HELP! i accidentally upgraded my jailbroken iphone 3gs 3.1.3 to 4.0.2 . my sim didnt work so i tried to downgrade it back to 3.1.3 but it got worse. it shows the ¨connect to itunes¨logo , but when i connect it to itunes, it says that my sim doesnt appeart to be supported . help me please!
