I have a third generation iPod touch with 8GB with firmware 3.1.2 installed. I would like to jailbreak it. The only software I can find is blackra1n. Quite frankly, I do not want the strange picture of the guy on the loading screen every time my iPod boots up. I understand that the third generation is relatively new, but are there any other jailbreak applications that work with 3.1.2?

I have recently bought an iPhone 4 and tried to jailbreak it. Unfortunately when I try and jailbreak it, it says that I need to downgrade it to 4.0.1/3.2.1. I was just wondering if anybody knew how to downgrade it to that version. Also, I have tried restoring the iPhone.
