what do you mean by hooked?
it seems like it is hanged over something, in this photo only?

used 3M double-sides tape to affix it to my dashboard. a Griffin cigarette lighter car charger keeps it powered. That is all
so is this iPhone permanent attached to dashboard or wht?
i mean how do u use it away from car?
It was a one time thing… double sided tape. Not the best method for a mobile device because you have to get the tape off really well from the affixed surfaces.
